OUR STAFF

Rodney has been a lead pastor for over 18 years and also has experience in Christian education, discipleship, worship, youth, children, and college students. He has a strong focus on discipleship and Bible study and loves sharing the salvation message of the grace of Christ throughout the world, as well as traveling with his wife to a variety of countries on mission trips. His style of teaching and preaching is energetic, systematic, and encouraging, while primarily teaching verse by verse through entire books of the Bible. Rodney married his wife Sarah in 2001, and they have one dog, an American Hairless Terrier named Savannah. His mission in life is to ‘make disciples who make disciples’. For fun, Rodney and Sarah like to go to movies, visit various zoos throughout the world, attend sporting events, golf, paddleboarding, and teaching together.

Mark serves as the Church administrator of University Heights Baptist Church and is married to his loving wife Montie.

Jake has been a youth pastor for over 30 years.  For Jake, Stillwater is home. He is  an alum of  Oklahoma State University and is a 7th grade science teacher at Stillwater Middle School. Jake has been teaching and coaching for 25 years, 8 of those years he also served as an assistant principal. Being in the school gives Jake the opportunity to reach students that may never enter the doors of a church. He leads the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group at Stillwater Middle School.  
 
Jake and his wife Sarah, were high school sweethearts with Sarah growing up at  UHBC and eventually following Jake on his youth minister journey. Sarah has been teaching for 27 years at Sangre Elementary and they have 2 amazing kids. Their son Osker, is a student at OSU and is majoring in exercise science/kinesiology and their daughter Mazey attends a local elementary school and loves to be in the water, ride bikes, play sports and hang out with her friends.

Jennifer Harris is the Children's Director of University Baptist Church and is full of energy and is married to her husband Joel and has four great kids.

Corey and his family have been at UHBC for years and he enjoys leading and encouraging our church in singing joyfully with authentic worship to our great God.  In addition to co-leading music with Emma, Corey is married to Courtney and has two wonderful kids.

Emma has been participating in worship and music at UHBC for over 8 years, and co-leading since 2020. She taught middle school choir after graduating from SWOSU in vocal music education. In addition to being one of our music leaders she teaches private lessons and enjoys being a stay at home mom.  With her husband, Max, they have been married since 2011 and members of UHBC ever since. Max is a senior design engineer and manager with Ditch Witch. They have two daughters, Everly and Zoey. Everly  who attend a local  Elementary School and are very active as a family.

Jessica moved to Stillwater from Tulsa five years ago and is married to her husband Kevin.  Along with their two children, they enjoy spending time as a family, making dinner together, traveling, and of course attending Oklahoma State athletic events.  She has a heart for loving and serving others and is the first smile you will see in the church office.
