The goal of our Sunday worship is to rest together - to slow down and process our experiences. We experience this rest through our worship of God, participating in music, learning, praying, studying, and loving each other. Through this, we strive to love God and each other well. Our music is the voice of our congregation and reflects the eclectic and diverse nature of our congregation. Every Sunday, we strive to use the gifts that God has given our congregation to allow for music and worship as diverse as our church family.  

At University Heights Baptist Church we don't get hung up on a specific style or formula for engaging our congregation in worship, but whatever style we may sing will be word-driven and Christ focused.  On a Sunday morning you will often hear hymns, news songs, praise songs, with our unique red-dirt/folk sound.

If you have a musical talent we would love to talk to you about getting involved and joining our team. We have opportunities in sound, video and online presentation, as well as singing and instruments.
